On Thursday, March 26th, Officers were dispatched to Sea Street for a report of an unresponsive female in a vehicle. Officer Donnelly, who was on Southern Artery, was first to arrive on scene. The victim’s grandson was with the victim and was performing chest compressions. Officer Donnelly extricated the victim from the vehicle and started CPR while the grandson provided rescue breathing. Officer Leuchte arrived on location and utilized an AED. Officer Donnelly and the grandson continued CPR while Officers Michael McNeil and Tom Gaeta coordinated assistance from Brewster Ambulance Service and Quincy Fire Department personnel. Once the ambulance arrived, the victim was turned over to the Paramedics, who reported that the victim had regained a pulse. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
