Environmental Treasures: Orchard Beach at Low Tide

Join coastal naturalist Peter Fifield for a stroll over sand spits and mud flats to explore marine life, view mysterious pilings and enjoy beautiful views. Oyster catchers and great blue herons are common here. Bring binoculars if you have them and bug spray. In places we will be walking in water that is a few inches deep and can be muddy. Old sneakers that you don't mind getting wet and muddy or rubber boots work great. Meet at the intersection of Bayside Road and Orchard Street in Squantum.
