Saturday, May 25, 10:00 AM

(Rain date: Sunday, May 26, 11:00 AM)

For years coastal citizen scientist Peter Fifield has spent time exploring and photographing Quincy's coast. One of his favorite spots is Gull Point. Join Peter on this tour to discover what makes this place so wonderful as we explore the area's rich biodiversity at low tide. Bring sun protection. Optional: After the tour Peter will host a sharing of some of his sea stories and invite you to share yours. Bring a beach chair if you want to participate.

Meet at the entrance to the boardwalk by the Germantown fire station, 140 Doane Street. Take Palmer Street past Snug Harbor School and the Germantown Neighborhood Center. Proceed 3/4 around the rotary to the unmarked street (Yardarm Lane), the last right before you get back to Palmer Street. Take Yardarm Lane to the end, turn right on Quarterdeck. At the end of Quarterdeck, turn right on to Doane Street and park in lot across from fire station.
