Over the course of the next few weeks, we will introduce our six newest officers that graduated from the MBTA Transit Academy on April 27th. At this point, all have completed the in-house portion of their field training (rules, regulations, etc). They have now moved into one of the most important aspects of policing - street patrol. Each new officer is assigned to a Field Training Officer who will help them get to know the city and how we, as a department, operate.
Next up... Officer Timothy Duggan. Tim served four years active duty in the Unites States Air Force before joining the Quincy Police Department #USAF
Q: What activities do you enjoy on your time off?
A: Going to the beach, playing hockey, and spending time with my family. (sounds like he'll be a good addition for the next QPD vs. QFD charity hockey game!)
Q: What the best advice you ever received and who gave it to you?
A: Don't sweat the small stuff - my mother.
Q: What was your favorite subject in the academy?
A: Applied Patrol Procedures because it helped me apply what I was taught.
If you see him around, please say hello!
