A Night of Bowling Fundraiser

We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Night of Bowling Fundraiser. This year's fundraiser will benefit Quincy Public Schools "CARES" (Children Achieve Real Educational Success) Program.

WHEN: Saturday, April 21st
WHERE: O'Lindy's Bowling
TIME: 6pm*-10PM

CARES is a series of intensive language-based substantially separate classrooms for students who have Pervasive Developmental Disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorders and other severe disabilities marked by communication, social and cognitive delays. The CARES program fosters independence in communication and to enable the learners socially, functionally and academically as they pursue the goal of inclusion. The money raised at our event will be used to assist in educating and sustaining this crucial program for our students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Tickets are $20/adult bowler and $10/youth bowler and can be purchased by contacting Sgt. Karyn Barkas at 617.745.5890 or Officer Roger White at 617.688.1991. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Your ticket includes food and bowling shoes. We will have raffles and silent auction items (cash only accepted).

*NEW THIS YEAR: Our first hour (6pm-7pm) will be sensory and child friendly.

If you are interested in donating a raffle or silent auction item, please contact Sgt. Barkas at 617.745.5890. If you are unable to attend and would like to make a donation to our fundraiser, you can send your donation to Quincy Police Dept, Attn: Sgt. Barkas, 1 Sea Street, Quincy, MA 02169. Please make your check payable to the CARES Program. CARES is exempt from taxes and is qualified to receive deductible charitable contributions under IRS sec. 170(c)(1).
