Three Arrested During Drug Investigation

On Friday, 12/01/17, members of the Quincy Police Drug Control Unit were conducting surveillance in the area of Woodcliff Rd due to recent complaints. At approx. 12:00, detectives observed a male, identified as William Vieira, and female, identified as Melissa Barkowsky, exit 67 Woodcliff Rd. Detectives observed what they believed to be a drug transaction between Ms. Barkowsky and another male, as Mr. Vieira acted as the "lookout."

Once the transaction was complete, Ms. Barkowsky began to walk back towards the residence as Mr. Vieira and the white male walked towards the Shea Rink. Detectives detained Mr. Vieira and the male. Based on statements made to detectives, and the recovery of fentanyl, William Vieira was placed under arrest. Detectives also stopped Ms. Barkowsky and placed under arrest.

Detectives then approached 67 Woodcliff Road. They were met by a female at the rear door. Detectives requested to enter the home to arrest Mr. Good. The female allowed detectives into the home, where he was located. He was placed him under arrest for his involvement in this investigation, as well as outstanding warrants.

David Good, 45, of 67 Woodcliff Rd, was charged with Distribution of Class B (Fentanyl), Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Law and two outstanding arrest warrants.

William Vieira, 37, of 965 Sea Street, was charged with Distribution of Class B (Fentanyl) Subsequent Offense and Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Law. VIEIRA was previously found guilty of Distribution of Class A (Heroin) out of Norfolk Superior Court.

Melissa Barkowsky, 37, of Hillside Dr, Hanover, was charged with Distribution of Class B (Fentanyl), Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws, and Possession to Distribute Class B (Suboxone)

Kenneth Berry, 37, homeless of Randolph, was located in the home and arrested on outstanding warrants.

All individuals are scheduled to be in Quincy District Court this morning.
