Three Rescued from Two-Alarm Fire

On October 31, 2107, at approx. 12:56pm, officers were dispatched to Norfolk Street on a report of a house fire in which the 2nd floor was fully engulfed. Officer Parisi was first to arrive on scene and was informed that children were trapped inside the home. Officer Parisi entered the first floor, located an 8yr old child, and carried the child to safety. He also noted that there were two adult individuals in the residence: an elderly male in his 70's and a female in her 50's. Paramedic Hugh Devlin, from Brewster Ambulance, was able to carry the elderly man to safety. Through a collaborative effort and quick response from Quincy Police, Quincy Fire, and Brewster Ambulance, all individuals were removed from the home safely and the fire was extinguished. No injuries were reported. Great job!!
