Celebrating 50 Years of the Neponset River Watershed Association

Join Chris Hirsch, Neponset River Watershed Association (NepRWA), and Jessica Mink and Maria Lyons, Neponset River Greenway Council, for a walk across the Neponset Bridge along the Boston side of the river to Dorchester Bay. Participants will have the opportunity to view Quincy across the river and learn about the wonderful access the Neponset Bridge provides Quincy bicyclists and walkers to explore the Boston side of the river. The walk will start in Quincy in the parking lot under the Neponset Bridge off Hancock Street next to the Adams Inn. Meet at the Quincy Riverwalk sign at the northern end of the parking lot near the river.

Ian Cooke, Executive Director of NepRWA, will give an illustrated talk about the history of NepRWA and the Neponset River over the last 50 years.
