Join Marianne Peak, Superintendent, and Kelly Cobble, Curator, Adams National Historical Park, and Tony Ricci, AIA, Chair, Quincy Historical Commission, for a stroll through the first floor of the Beale House and its garden, followed by a steep walk up Presidents Lane and down Monroe Road to view some architecturally lovely historic homes, including the home of Charles Francis Adams. The tour will also feature some of the most magnificent beech trees in Quincy.  Learn about three women physicians who lived and worked in the Beale House beginning in the 1940s and the sea captain who built the house.  Meet at the entrance to the driveway of the Beale House, (a yellow house next to Peace field), 181 Adams Street.  Limited parking is available on Adams Street.  Bring water, sunscreen and a hat.
