The inaugural Food Truck & Music Festival will be held at Coddington St and Quincy High School on Saturday, September 30th from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
Hosted by Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch, the festival will feature over 20 food trucks, a beer garden and a variety of musical performances headlined by the James Montgomery Band! Montgomery has toured with major artists over the years including Aerosmith, Bonnie Raitt and Bruce Springsteen and has jammed on stage with the likes of B.B. King and Patti LaBelle. Other festival acts will include Trusty Sidekick, Liz Bills and more.
“The Food Truck & Music Festival is the type of cultural events that the community desires,” said Mayor Thomas Koch. “It’s a great opportunity to bring people together to enjoy our historic and vibrant city, and is just steps from the Quincy Center MBTA stop, making it accessible to all.”
Participating food trucks include GottaQ BBQ, Say Cheese, Montilio’s, Ben & Jerry’s, Teri-Yummy, Fenway Sausage Works, Jamaica Mi Hungry, Spicy Salaa, Tracy Girl Food Truck, Travelin’ Bones BBQ and many more! Guests who are 21+ can enjoy a beer garden with craft beers provided by the Pour Garden truck.
Admission to the event is FREE - though individual vendors will charge for food and drink. A portion of Coddington Street will be closed down for the festival, which will extend onto the front lawn of Quincy High School.
