Black's Creek Clean Up

Saturday, May 6, 10:00 AM

Don't forget the Cleaner/Greener Quincy city-wide clean up (now in its 28th year!) Saturday, May 6 complete with free t-shirt and barbecue at 12:30 PM!! Pick your own favorite location or join the Environmental Treasures team to clean up the Black's Creek estuary along Furnace Brook Parkway.  We will meet at 10:00 AM at the intersection of Furnace Brook Pkwy. and Longwood Road.  Park on a side street and meet us at the corner.

If you call me to let me know you are coming at (617) 347-464,1 I can make sure to have enough gloves and bags but you are welcome to show up anytime after 10:00 AM even if you decide to come at the last minute.  The trash in Black's Creek can make its way into the ocean. Cleaning it up is a lot of fun and we will be doing our part to help protect marine life from getting caught in or killed by swallowing the plastic and other debris.

If you come later than 10:00 AM, call me on my cell phone (see above) to find our clean up location.
