Twelve (12) Spots Available For Basic Boating Safety Course

Boating Safety Course starting THIS Saturday. Twelve (12) spots are available - on a first come first serve basis - for the next Boating Safety class being taught by the Quincy Police Marine unit in partnership with the Massachusetts Environmental Police.

The dates are as follows:
5/8, 5/15, 5/22 Saturdays 10:00AM-2:00PM (You must attend all 3 classes)

The class is being held at the Houghs Neck Community Center inside the
Manet Community Health Building

Quincy, MA 02169

Courses are nationally approved, and course completion will allow persons to legally operate a boat in states requiring Basic Boating Safety Courses. Everyone who completes the course will be issued a Basic Boating Safety Certificate. Completion of the course by persons between 12 to 16 years of age will allow them to operate a motor boat without adult supervision. In addition, some insurance companies offer policy discounts for customers that complete a Basic Boating Safety Course.
