Community Meeting - 2019 Roadway & Infrastructure Construction

Ward Five City Councillor Kirsten Hughes will be hosting a Community Meeting on Wednesday, May 1st at 6:30 pm at Central Middle School to discuss the upcoming roadway, sidewalk, and infrastructure construction. Representatives from the Department of Public Works, Woodard & Curran and contractors will be attendance to discuss what to expect with during construction, contact information for the contractors and expected timelines. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this upcoming work I encourage you to attend this Community Meeting.

Community Meeting - Proposal at 14 Beale St. (Former Wollaston Theater) 

Ward Five City Councillor Kirsten L. Hughes will be hosting a Community Meeting on Thursday, April 25th at 7:00pm, Quincy High School Auditorium, 100 Coddington Street to discuss a proposal for the 14 Beale Street, the former Wollaston Theater property.  The owner of the property seeks to construct a 63-unit condominium building, consisting  of  29 one bedroom units and 34 two bedroom units.  Please see the reverse side of this letter for a detailed description of the project.  The owner and his attorney will be in attendance to present the plans for the proposal. The Neighborhood Meeting is the first step in the process, if this matter is of interest to you, I encourage you to attend this meeting.

Glendale Park Task Force Meetings  

As announced last year, the Glendale Park Task Force is being formed to help determine the future plans for Glendale Park. The goal is to bring together stakeholders from all sides of the site to help inform and guide the design, operations, and maintenance of the Park in conjunction with the 114 Whitwell redevelopment.
