2020 Roadway and Infrastructure Construction -

Ward Three City Councillor Ian Cain will be hosting a Community Meeting on Wednesday March 11th at 7:00 pm in the Wollaston School Gymnasium to discuss the upcoming roadway and infrastructure construction that will be affecting your street.  Representatives from the Department of Public Works, Woodard & Curran and contractors will be attendance to discuss what to expect with during construction, contact information for the contractors and expected timelines.

Ward Three 2020 Town Hall Meetings -

Ward Three City Councillor Ian Cain will be continuing in the success of  the 2019 Ward 3 Town Hall Series with more meetings in 2020 on various topics geared at empowered residents and providing them the opportunity to interact more closely with city departments that serve them.

Below is a proposed schedule for the Spring 2020 meetings - 

CANCELLED -Waste & Recycling
Date: Wednesday, March 18th  at Wollaston School Gymnasium,

Out of an abundance of caution Ward Three Councillor Ian Cain will be cancelling his upcoming Town Hall on Waste & Recycling scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th
at the Wollaston School. Residents will be notified when a new date is scheduled. 

Quincy Fiber Network

Date: Wednesday, April 29th

Location: Central Middle School Auditorium, 875 Hancock Street

Community Meeting - 0 Harriet Avenue Proposal

Ward Three City Councillor Ian Cain will be hosting a Community Meeting on Wednesday, February 26th at 7:00 pm in the Montclair School Auditorium at 8 Belmont Street to review and discuss a development proposal for 0 Harriet Avenue. The property owner is seeking to develop the undeveloped portion of land that partially abuts State Street and Harriet Avenue neighborhood. The proposal consists of a main building with sixty-five units (65) as well as ten (10) townhouses on the property. If you are interested in learning more about this proposal, I encourage you to attend and participate in this meeting.

Neighborhood Meeting - Willow Avenue Area Traffic Issues

A Neighborhood Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 26th at 6:30 PM at the Charles A. Bernazzani Elementary School located at 701 Furnace Brook Parkway. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the traffic challenges in the Willow Avenue area.

Community Meeting - Public Safety - Recent Area Break-ins

Ward Three City Councillor Ian Cain will be hosting a Community Meeting on Tuesday, December 18th at 7:00 pm in the Wollaston Elementary School Gymnasium at 205 Beale Street to discuss the recent break-ins in the area. A representative of the Quincy Police Department will be in attendance to answer questions and discuss the police department’s response to these unfortunate incidents.
