Resident Parking

To apply for an Resident Parking permit please click here.   Parking permits are required for residents wishing to park on-street for all streets listed here.  Resident restrictions are enforced so as to preserve quality of life in residential neighborhoods, as well as to prevent non-neighborhood residents from parking illegally to utilize public transportation.

Parking permits are free. Applicants must demonstrate that their vehicle is registered to the applicable address by submitting a copy of the vehicle registration. Applications submitted without vehicle registration will be denied. A second form of proof of residency, such as lease documents or a utility bill, must also be provided.  Any person wishing to register their vehicle to their current Quincy address (if they are not registered here already) can do so by clicking here to visit the Massachusetts RMV Website.  If you have any questions please contact Traffic and Parking at (617) 376-1478.

Handicap Parking

The parking division oversees the implementation and enforcement of handicap parking facilities for the City. If you are interested in applying for a handicap parking space on an accepted public street in Quincy, you can print out an application here and return it to the address on the bottom of the form. Please include with your application a copy of your current handicap placard. Accommodations may also be made to create Handicap Pickup/Dropoff zones if deemed appropriate.
