The City of Quincy's Community Development division is responsible for the administration of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) community planning, development, and housing programs. These programs utilize federal funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and the HEARTH Act/ Continuum of Care (CoC) program to fund local activities which benefit low/moderate-income residents and neighborhoods of Quincy.
Projects supported must conform to program regulations and focus on the City's priority needs, as identified in the current Five-year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plans.
