Directions
Quincy is easily accessible by highway, water shuttle and the MBTA’s Red Line, which has four stops in Quincy: North Quincy, Wollaston, Quincy Center and Quincy Adams stations.

From Boston and Points North:
Take Route 95 South through Boston to Route 93 South. Take Exit 12 (“Quincy/Neponset”) and follow the Quincy signs over the Neponset Bridge. At the top of the bridge, take the Hancock Street exit. Follow Hancock Street for approximately 2.75 miles to Quincy Center. The Adams National Historical Park Visitor Center is located in Quincy Center at 1250 Hancock Street.


From the South:
Take Route 95/128 North to Route 93 North. Take Exit 18 to Burgin Parkway/Quincy Center. Follow Burgin Parkway to Quincy Center. After passing through the intersection of Burgin Parkway and Granite St. (Burger King will be on your left), you will pass the Quincy Center MBTA station on your right. At the next set of lights, turn right onto Dimmock Street. At the first set of lights, turn right onto Hancock Street. The Adams National Historical Park Visitor Center will be on your left at 1250 Hancock Street.


From Cape Cod:
Take Route 3 North to Exit 19. Follow Burgin Parkway to Quincy Center. After passing through the intersection of Burgin Parkway and Granite St. (Burger King will be on your left), you will pass the Quincy Center MBTA station on your right. At the next set of lights, turn right onto Dimmock Street. At the first set of lights, turn right onto Hancock Street. The Adams National Historical Park Visitor Center will be on your left at 1250 Hancock Street.

By Rail:
From Boston, take either the MBTA Red Line or the Old Colony Commuter Rail (Middleboro/Lakeville Line) to the Quincy Center stop. Exit the station to your left onto Hancock Street. The Adams National Historical Park
Visitor Center is located across the street at the Presidents Place Galleria, 1250 Hancock Street.


By Water Shuttle:
The high-speed Harbor Express makes frequent trips, seven days a
week, from Boston’s Marriott Long Wharf and Logan International
Airport to Quincy’s Fore River Shipyard terminal. Call Harbor Express

Parking Information
Downtown Quincy offers several public parking garages and municipal lots.

Hancock Parking Lot:
Entrance on Chestnut St./Dennis Ryan Parkway.

Presidents Place Garage:
1250 Hancock St. Entrance to garage is at the end of Saville Ave.

Visitors to the Adams National Historical Park Visitor Center – also located in Presidents Place – receive parking validation with paid admission.


Ross Parking Garage:
Entrances on Granite Street and Parkingway.


Quincy Center MBTA Garage:

Entrance on Burgin Parkway.


Getting Around
Adams National Historical Park Trolley Service
The Adams National Historical Park offers trolley service between the
park’s Visitor Center, the Adams birthplaces and the Adams Mansion.
Trolley service is included in the park’s admission ($5 adults, children
16 and under free).


Public Transportation
With four MBTA Red Line subway stops and numerous bus routes,
Quincy offers easy access to public transportation. The city is also
served by the Harbor Express commuter ferry service to Boston. Call
