Manet Community Health Center, Inc. serves the broad health needs of South Shore residents through a family practice model of care. A multi-site community based health center, Manet works to ensure that its patients have access to all levels of the health care system. Manet is especially committed to providing services for the medically underserved.

Woman's Business Network     

Women's Business Network is a business and professional networking organization whose primary purpose is to promote and support women in business and professional practices. Founded in 1990 in Harvard, Massachusetts, it now includes women from many other local communities who own or manage a small business-or are interested in starting a business.

Interfaith Social Services

Interfaith Social Services strengthens family life and offers assistance to anyone in need. The Pantry Shelf food program distributes over 350,000 lbs. of food each year to hungry families and individuals. The New Directions Counseling Center helps suffering clients who needs emotional or mental health assistance. Homesafe is a homelessness prevention and emergency assistance program which assisted hundreds of South Shore families last year. The Career Closet distributes free professional attire for low income job seekers to wear to job interviews. The Bureau Drawer Thrift Shop offers low cost clothing and household goods to thousands of low income families every year. Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, other hours by appointment.

DOVE

DOVE Inc. (Domestic Violence Ended) is committed to serving communities, families and individuals impacted by domestic violence. We seek to empower our clients and the community by providing safety, shelter, education and support services. By promoting an environment free from abuse, we strive to see DOmestic Violence Ended.

DOVE is one of 15 organizations in Massachusetts to receive a grant from Verizon to support teen dating and domestic violence prevention. DOVE's YouthSpeak program teens will explore and utilize social media to spread the word about dating and domestic violence and resources available to help.
